elimdeki win 2003 kitabından alıntıdır:

The process is called scavenging. Scavenging is a process whereby a DNS server periodically (you can configure how often, as you’ll see) checks its dynamically created records to see how long it’s been since they were registered (or reregistered). Then, if the scavenger finds records that
haven’t been registered or reregistered in a long time (and you can configure how long “a long time” is), it deletes them from the zone file.

To see how to set up scavenging, right-click the DNS server’s icon in the DNS snap-in and choose Set Aging/Scavenging for All Zones

Check the box labeled Scavenge Stale Resource Records and click OK twice (you’ll see another dialog
box asking about AD-integrated zones; again, just click OK to go with the defaults) to enable scavenging. But what about those two time values, the No-Refresh Interval and the Refresh Interval? Well, there are three numbers relevant to how scavenging works; here, you see two of them—and I’ll explain them in a minute, but if you’re in a real rush, then here’s the short version: just use the defaults, they’re fine.
